I added to the basic plastics by getting a HQ (Desolator – level 5 commander), a pack of 8 Scout walkers (Prowlers), a pair of heavy tanks (Slayers) and a some Razorworms (they come six to a pack, I only needed two. (I love the fluff for these even if they can’t take objectives – they are killers through and through – just drop one or two in a building that the enemy needs to take and watch the carnage).

The base colour is again black, followed by Vallejo Game Color Scorpion Green (wondered when that would see the light of day again) and then some red for sensor bits and infantry hats. The infantry also had some beige for weapon barrels – why not, it’s a sci-fi game! Infantry bases and Razorworms were finished with some fine sand and PVA glue. The
The points values can vary over time as units are overhauled. This responsiveness is good, but can be a pain when trying to build a force and then see the value change slightly weeks later.
